About

The Bartlett Park District was established in 1964. The district owns or leases more than 380 acres of park lands. Included is the Apple Orchard Golf Course and the Bartlett Aquatic Center, which are both part of the huge 120.5 acre Apple Orchard Community Park, situated in the heart of the Village.

The Bartlett Aquatic Center opened in 1993 and offers a large swimming pool with a zero depth edge, 18-foot water slide, kids' sand play area, two sand volleyball courts, a grass sunning area, and a concession stand.

Apple Orchard Golf Course is a nine-hole, par three course, complete with a pro shop. Nearby is the Bartlett Community Center containing a fully equipped kitchen, large multi-use room for banquets and theatre, 6 preschool rooms, 2 raquetball courts, fitness center, dance studio, triple gymnasium with running tacks, an indoor aquatic center and more! It also has a preschool classroom, a large meeting room, and a gymnasium.

The Bartlett Park District plans and conducts a comprehensive program of sports, recreation, and activities for residents of all ages and abilities. Besides the many recreational activities, the Bartlett Park District promotes many cultural activities. The District sponsors theatre productions as well as summer concerts in the park.
