With extensive communications experience, a flair for marketing and passion for building relationships, marketing communications professional (marcom pro), Shar-day Campbell, has a proven record of helping companies and organizations establish/maintain rapports, increase lead generation and build brand awareness.

Her background includes work with marketing communications firms, academic institutions, non-profit organizations, oil/gas companies, government contractors, national television shows and the automotive industry.

After making a mark in the entertainment industry on the nationally syndicated court show “Judge Alex,” Campbell served as a scriptwriter for a government contractor’s video game based training product and then returned to her professional passion as a marketing and communications specialist. She currently works as a public relations account executive for Ward Creative Communications in Houston, TX and freelances for television shows on 20th Century Fox, NBC, TLC, Black Entertainment Television--BET and Bravo.

As a labor of love, Campbell volunteers as the marketing communications specialist for a non-profit, the Honey Brown Hope Foundation. Her role requires the coordination of the Foundation’s media relations efforts, ongoing programs and annual “We Love America Healthy, Clean and Green” calendar release/diversity celebration.

From her experience, she has gained the keen ability to effectively generate awareness and secure partners for benchmarking initiatives. One of her most notable campaigns resulted in a paralyzed athlete, Rasul "Rocky" Clark, receiving an opportunity to be featured on TV One's national docu-series, "Will to Live."

Campbell’s work and dedication to service have brought her local and state recognition. She has been recognized by the: State of Texas for Community Relations—HR 10R2215 and City of Houston for the “We Love America Healthy, Clean and Green” diversity and environmental awareness celebration. Her marketing communications campaigns have been highlighted nationally on CNN and TV One; internationally on Raw Story News Outlet; locally on all the Radio One Houston stations, KPRC Local 2, KRIV Fox 26 and in the Houston Chronicle, Houston Style Magazine, Fort Bend Sun, D-Mars Monthly News and several elected officials’ newsletters.  

Shar-day Campbell graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate/Organizational Communication. She resides in Houston, TX and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, volunteering and networking.
