Mission
Shoreline Behavioral Health Services’ mission is to address the problem of alcohol and substance use disorders in Horry County by providing individualized, recovery based treatment and community prevention services.
Vision For The Future
Shoreline Behavioral Health envisions a system of care in which problems arising from the use of substances and addiction in our county are prevented using a combination of public education and early intervention strategies.
For those who develop problems with substances, often with co-occurring physical and mental health issues, timely treatment services are readily available and the different providers involved coordinate care in concert with an array of community based, recovery oriented services. The goal of coordination is that the consumer experience is of a welcoming system that connects to community services and has a broad enough menu of assistance to accommodate multiple recovery pathways.
