Singapore Expo – A Purpose- Built Venue

Singapore Expo is a purpose built venue by the Singapore Government for the MICE business with over 10 years of operations under its wings.  

Singapore Expo holds mega scaled exhibitions like Communicasia, Broadcast Asia, International Furniture Fair and Food & Hotel Asia alongside smaller events like Shipteck and Recharge Asia.  All of these shows have international organisers who are keen to build a platform towards maximising business revenue with buyers from Asia.

It has also played host to Herbalife – the largest incentive group meeting held in Singapore in 2003, 2005 and 2007, 11th World HR Congress & Business Connect Expo, 7th Asia Pacific Life Insurance Congress and the annual World Federation of Personnel Management Congress.

In addition, more intimate and exclusive corporate meetings are held at the centre with the likes of IBM, Standard Chartered Bank, Nike and HSBC to name a few.

Each of the 10 exhibition halls, 10 conference rooms and 9 meeting rooms at Singapore Expo come fully equipped with the state-of-the-art audio-visual and light equipment.  

Also available is the MAX Pavilion, a unique venue for concerts and stage performances which seats about 6500 people which comes fully equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and video systems.

Singapore Expo - Flexible Space

All available space is fully scalable to accommodate varying formats, themes, size of participants and provides ample opportunity to design the environment to suit the event.  

The halls are located on the ground floor for easy access, easy loading and unloading and movement of personnel from hall to hall.  Entrances are easily designated for grand entrances, arrivals and departures of VVIPs and allows for quick implementation of security measures in the event of a high-profiled event or guest.

Along with an extensive line-up of in-house logistical and event services, Singapore Expo also provides quality catering helmed by nationally renowned chefs who bring a varied selection of gourmet foods suited to the taste and dietary requirements of organisers and participants.  

In addition, an eclectic mix of local delicacies is available for alfresco or indoor dining during event days.

Getting To Singapore Expo - Location & Transportation

Singapore Expo is conveniently located a mere 5 minutes away from Changi International Airport and 15minutes to the city centre by car.   Visitors can also take the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) train to our own dedicated EXPO station for their convenience.

As an iconic building in Singapore, Singapore Expo is easily identified and located by our local taxis.

Enhanced New Trade Show Launch Scheme

Event and Meeting Planners will be very pleased to know that Singapore Expo has recently launched the Enhanced New Trade Show Launch Scheme which provides incentives and reduced initial outlay to encourage new shows and events at Singapore Expo.

This scheme was created to develop new meetings, conventions, exhibition at the centre.  The key objective is to encourage organisers to maximise their business potential in Singapore and rest of Asia.  

Simply Expo – Meeting Packages

MICE organisers can enjoy a selection of value-for-money packages aimed at providing the simplest solutions for the highest of returns. These packages designed to suit specific requirements of MICE organisers range from full day to half day seminars including MEGA, Entertainment and Adventure packages.

New Meeting Rooms

To help position Singapore Expo for the growth of BTMICE and meet the diverse needs of organisers and delegates, Singapore Expo will be undergoing an upgrading programme to include an additional suite of new meeting rooms complete with the latest in conferencing, AV and lighting equipment.

Each of these rooms will be scalable to suit the size of each event and cater to the varying requirements of the organisers.  In addition, these rooms will be well appointed to suit the comforts of the participants at Singapore Expo.

Integrated Hotel, Retail and F&B centre
A new development comprising hotel, retail and more F&B options will soon come available in 2011.  This new development will just be a 5 minute walk and provide delegates with various options during lunch and after hours.
