WHO WE ARE:

Spiritual Sisters in Travel is a new and uplifting Christian based travel group consisting of women ages 25-55 enjoying rest and relaxation through travel nationwide and abroad while sharing GOD's word; keeping faith in Christ; staying in prayer and meditation; and inspiring others to love life to its fullest. We are not a church nor affiliated with a church but our group members belong individually to a church and share the same spiritual values. We also share similar extracurricular activities.

OUR VISION:
   
     We at Spiritual Sisters in Travel organized our group because we desired to explore GOD's extraordinary places with other Christians through travel in our leisure time. We deeply depend on our road map, the Bible, to show us how to express love for each other and practice righteous living.
   GOD's word stresses "fellowship" which plays an extrememly vital role in the Christian community. We felt there was a great need to expound on the importance of fellowship by creating a social and recreational atmosphere among other sisters in Christ. Using travel as a major concept to form a stronger bond while sharing the word of GOD nationwide and abroad suggests a positive outcome.
   Age diversity of our group of women (currently 25-55) encourages mentoring when sharing spiritual knowledge and personal life skills. In the future of SST, not only will men be able to partake in this exciting fellowship experience but, they will partner with the women in SST organizing projects that will greatly enhance communities in the areas of housing and eco-friendly furnishings, community facilities and employment-including development of strong fellowship projects to connect Christians and their community.

OUR STRATEGY:

Spiritual Sisters in Travel plan to invest a small portion of our discretionary income to travel along with the use of fundraisers. We will always be planning our trips two years in advance. Estimated cost of trip will be known in the infancy stages of our planning. Total payment of trip will be due three (3) months in advance of departure. Pricing of the trip may be reduced depending on the number of participants in the group. Each group member is encouraged to conduct their own fundraiser or pair with another group member(s) in their fundraising efforts.

OUR MISSION IS THREE-FOLD:

Love Christ...We show our Love for Christ by walking in love with each other and all that we meet.

Share Christ...We share Christ by telling the world about Jesus' love for them.

Love Life...We love life by honoring the word of GOD in all that we do, enjoying the company of our travel partners and appreciating the sights that GOD has blessed us to experience.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

1. The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God .(II Timothy 3:16).

2. In the triune nature of God – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22).

3. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of
salvation (Romans 3:23).

4. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men (John 3:16).

5. That the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is an experience subsequent to salvation, and that it is the will of God that all be filled (John 14:16-17).

6. Healing was provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer (Isaiah 53:5).

7. The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior (Colossians 1:12-18).

8. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust (II Corinthians 5:10).

9. In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ (Mark 13:26).

10. In water baptism and the observance of the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 3:11; I Corinthians 11:23-29).

REQUIREMENTS:

Members must be between ages 25-55.

Membership fee of $20.00 must be received by 1 May of each year to be considered an active member. All membership fees are nonrefundable.

Good Faith deposit of $200 is due 1 May, one year prior to planned trip.  You have a 30-day grace.  Deposit is non-refundable in the event of member cancellation up to 120 days prior to departure date.

Members must be a Christian and believe in the Holy Trinity, GOD the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Romans 3:23; 5:8; Proverbs 28:13; John 1"12; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 4:4-6).

Members must believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of GOD the Father (John 3:14-17).

Members must believe in water baptism (Acts 2:38).

Members must believe that Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross for our sins and arose from the dead and is alive right now (Luke 24:46; Acts 13:32-33).

Members must believe Jesus Christ will return again someday to claim those who believe in him (Acts 1:11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
