About

SmartCheck is a Japan-based web service developed by students at Tokyo University of Science and operated by founder Hiromu Sekiguchi as a sole proprietor.

Users upload a photo and select three examples of the target to count similar visible objects. Detected positions can be reviewed and corrected by the user. The same workflow can be tried with construction materials, components, products and agricultural goods, without building a dedicated AI model for each target. Results depend on the image and target conditions.

The service runs in a web browser without app installation.
