After over 25 years in the manufacturing industry, our founder,Brian Meitzler's love for the environment drew him to solar. He started BMC Solar with over 8 years of experience in designing, installing, and managing the installation of residential and commercial solar systems. His quality of work has gained both local and national recognition, as he was asked to train the City of San Diego Fire Department on solar safety and was awarded SunPower's National Award for best installation in 2007.
