The Southpointe Chamber is based at the Marcellus Shale Capital for gas & oil indsutry. We promote the Marcellus Shale gas oil region by helping with jobs, industry expansion and community awareness. This chamber is 17 years old with a quarterly magazine publication, "Southpointe marcellus Magazine", video production, web site www.southpointechamber.com and semi annual trade shows. The Pittsburgh Business Times listed our chamber as one of the largest in the Pittsburgh Region. We thank all the individual members who made this possible. We thank you for your support and belief in us. Our goal is to introduce you to other businesses in the area with our magazine, radio program, 3,000 click members and 600 annual members.
You don't have to work or live in Southpointe to be a part of the growth including the Marcellus gas/oil industry! Southpointe is 20 minutes from the Pittsburgh Airport www.pitairport.com and Downtown Pittsburgh www.pittsburgh.net. Our park setting features corporate office buildings, (240 companies with over 60 gas oil related) and residential homes all nestled around the Southpointe Golf Club course. Walkways, golf cart paths and bike riding trails connect all areas of this 900 acre park. The national news media dubbed this park as the 'Marcellus Shale Industry Headquarters' with over 60 major gas - oil companies in the park.
