For the 5TH year in a row, Daylesford will host the That’s Amoré wedding expo, a one-day comprehensive showcase of all the wedding services Daylesford and the surrounding regions have to offer.
Famous for its proximity to Melbourne and its picturesque setting, outstanding venues, local food and wine, natural springs, native bushlands, vibrant arts scene and old world charm, it’s no wonder so many couples are selecting Daylesford as the backdrop for their special day.
The wide variety of businesses participating in this year's That’s Amoré include venues, caterers, videographers, photographers, dress designers, hair and make-up artists, stylists, cake designers, stationery designers, florists, gift makers and celebrants.
Complementing the exciting display stalls, the Daylesford Town Hall is set to come alive with catwalk fashion parades featuring gowns and suits by selected designers including Mariana Hardwick, and roaming brides and grooms, all while talented local caterers and wine makers tempt the crowds with samples of their produce.
Event organiser Bettina Ralph, Managing Director of Daylesford-based Special Touch Weddings and Events Services, explains her inspiration, “The region is just so beautiful. There are so many interesting businesses specialising in weddings, that I wanted to create an opportunity for them to showcase their wares and talents so that couples, regardless of their wedding budget, can see for themselves the variety of offerings in this region”.
