At Start‐Up Hub, we believe that the scope of small business has changed; we have seen an influx of would‐be entrepreneurs taking the step up to self‐employment and an increasing amount of people are contemplating starting-up in business using their unique skills and attributes to deliver something of value.
Start‐Up Hub aims to remove the mystification from starting and running a business by providing a unique mix of theoretical and practical workshops designed around three key areas of business start-up.

Three Key Areas
Learn and apply the basics of preparing a well‐made and detailed business plan, learn about approaches to targeting markets and researching your competitors, and be guided through protecting your brand.
Learn and apply the creative aspect of branding, from colour schemes to brand personality; have your logo created, principles of choosing and taking photos and creating graphics and artwork for your website, letterheads, email templates and your business card design.
Learn to apply your existing knowledge and skills in using the Web to publishing your content on the Web. We begin by setting up your website framework, walk you through content management and explain search engine optimisation (SEO) and how to get the most from social media.
The Start‐Up Hub team comprises of Alisha, Ash and Chris. We share a lot skills and experience and the unique and dynamic mix results in a good team. Consider us part of your team on the day of your workshop. Workshop capacity is at a maximum of three other business start-ups at any one time, which makes great room for practice, brainstorming and friendship among peers, and gives us enough scope to make adjustments to deliver your individual workshop experience.
Our Workshops are designed so you get the best possible spread of business acumen, creative management and web at whichever stage you’ve already taken your business to. Join us at Day 1, 2 or 3. Start‐Up Hub wants to protect and nurture your ideas and help them come to fruition and remain so. We want to throw away the shackles of what business appears to be and show that even the everyday person can own and run a successful business. So out with conformity and dress how you feel.
