About

The career of music producer, musician and artist Stone Mecca has gone through several evolutionary changes. He began his career in hip hop, doing studio work with the likes of Ice Cube, Mack 10, Ant Banks, E-40 and Snoop Dogg. Then in 2007, he built a 9 piece soul/funk band and toured with RZA aka Bobby Digital to support his debut album, First Contact. Stone Mecca's songs "The Walk"  and "Oh" were featured on Spike TV's animated show, Afro Samurai, as well as the television show's soundtrack produced by RZA. Now, as a solo artist, Stone Mecca combines his love of hard-hitting hip hop beats and funk-driven bass lines with grinding guitar riffs and soulful melodies. His latest EP, entitled Alienman, which is due for a summer 2018 release, is a masterful blend of roots rock, blues and funk.
