Studio Phyzz is a lifestyle studio offering fitness classes, personal training, nutrition education, health coaching, workshops and small group training onsite in Napa, through our Youtube channel, through our blog and through virtual training.  

Phyzz offerings are designed to help individuals live their most inspired and energized life.  Programs are diverse and anything can be customized to be as unique and individual as each person we coach.  Our team specializes in customizing fun programs that drive change and deliver results.  Whether it is power, speed and agility for improved sports performance, or flexibility, core stability and improved muscle tone to feel and look better for daily living, the Phyzz team of experts deliver the goods.  Add in health coaching covering everything from nutrition and Yoga to Qigong and stress management techniques, and clients receive a comprehensive team approach that helps them achieve balance in health and wellness.  

Dave and Melanie McLaren are the driving force behind Phyzz. Transplants from Southern California, they’ve called Napa home since 2000. Studio Phyzz opened in 2012, and in 2013 was designated as a TRX-Premier facility. With over 25 years experience as a fitness professional, Melanie’s certifications include Sports Nutrition, Pilates, Piloxing, L1 and L2 TRX, TRX Rip Training, Zumba, Schwinn Cycling, Barefoot Training, Barre and numerous other formats.  She’s ACE and AFFA certified, and NASM and Health Coach certifications are in-progress. Dave has 20+ years in the corporate arena with Fortune 500 companies, and excels in building teams, implementing change and strategic planning.  He’s an avid sports fan, great cook, marathoner and 2013 Tough Mudder survivor! Together they are the Yin & Yang of Studio

The Phyzz team also includes a full roster of experienced teacher/trainers, each with their own specialty, including, but not limited to Iyengar Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, marathon and running coaching, pre/post natal exercise, Ballet, Sports Nutrition, TRX, Tabata/Metabolic Training and so much more.
