New York, NY (September 5, 2012) – It’s time for those in power to be held accountable for their role in creating a one- parent society by the positions they take and the unjust rulings they make.
This day of reckoning, known as “Parents Rising” is Wednesday October 3, 2012 beginning at 8am in front of the Suffolk County Courthouse in Central Islip, NY.
For too long, a lopsided, unjust and summarily broken judicial system has allowed incompetent judges to rule with blind eyes and iron fists with almost absolute immunity. As time marches on, clearly there is little thought about how consistent and persistent unfair rulings against quality, caring and loving parents continue to ruin lives. The New York divorce system must be fixed immediately because:
• Parental Alienation (brainwashing a child against a parent) is the Ultimate hate crime.
• Judges have turned divorced parents into an ATM, encouraged by Federal funding.
• It continues to deny parents the basic rights ALL people deserve and are entitled to in our constitution.
• Family courts are abusing the rights of children…the very individuals they are supposed to be protecting.
• Children have a right to have a relationship with BOTH their parents.
