About |
Susan Reader design, created and brought to market the giftware village line
of collectibles called Ivy & Innocence. They premiered at the Atlanta gift trade show in 1997 along with the charming stories that accompanied them. As the magical town progressed, the stories expanded and a neighboring seaside village called Ivy Cove was introduced.
The tales depict a community of whimsical folk living a traditional lifestyle that unite to defeat various challenges dwelling in the imaginary village of cottages called Ivy & Innocence.
A new Kickstarter campaign is currently active to revitalize the village. Any pledge amount brings us one step closer to our goal.
A portion your pledge will benefit University of Iowa Children’s Hospital!
Private support has allowed UI Children’s Hospital to offer programs that enhance the emotional well-being of patients and their families, purchase advanced medical technology to better diagnose or treat childhood conditions, and seek more knowledge about childhood disorders through medical research.
With the UI Children’s Hospital affiliation, and your support, we can offer patients a special adventure exploring their imagination strolling down Ivy's cobblestone byways into a magical world to encourage recovery.
The storybook's homespun tales depict an uplifting community that will not only plant the seed of optimism in the young patients, but stir up wonderful memories of yesterday for family members and their young-at-heart visitors.
Help us make a storybook that ignites an exciting wave of optimism into the tiny hands of our future by visiting our Kickstarter page https://goo.gl/64GFM7 and clicking ‘Back This Project’ button at the top or by helping us spread the word by sharing our news with your family and friends.
