Telerad Tech, the global health IT company, is all set to unveil its proprietary veterinary radiology software VETSpa in the European markets during the BSAVA Congress 2018, the prestigious global veterinary event scheduled to be held in Birmingham, UK from April 4 -8, 2018.

Digital radiography has revolutionized not only human but also animal medicine. Veterinary radiologists perform thousands of studies every year on small animals, exotic pets and large animals to examine their bodies for various medical conditions. Images provide vital information to physicians and surgeons with regards to heart, lungs, bone, brain and abdomen of the vet patient and these studies are also done at various intervals to follow-up on the progress of the line of treatment. Images are shared for per review and are required to be stored for future reference.  Often, Veterinary Radiologists are required to collaborate closely and live with surgeons from the operation theatre.

Telerad Tech’s VETSpa, is a Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) software solution with an integrated Radiology Information System (RIS). It has been designed for the veterinary radiologists, veterinary physicians and surgeons. VETSpa can be used to securely upload, view, annotate, share, and archive veterinary medical images and reports. Its intelligent radiology workflow enables integrated image management through centralized scheduling to multiple connecting modalities, sites or centers, and the Active Push feature enables faster downloads at peak load in even low bandwidths conditions, according to Mr Ashwani Sinha, the Global Head – Business Development.

VETspa is being currently used by over hundreds of Veterinary Radiologists in America to report studies for a range of modality, including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Endoscopy. The unique aspect of VETSpa is its ease of deployment, ease of use, language diversity, customization features and ability to report on the move through mobile devices, informed Mr Mohan Mysore, Vice President – BD, Telerad Tech.
