The Color Run

In Tempe, AZ on January 2012 the first Color Run sparked a serious chain of events, launching The Color Run into a sensation that is catching the eye of color lovers everywhere. The Color Run is a fun 5K running event where every kilometer participants go through a “Color Station” that gets them all colored up by using colored powder. The original tour for this event consisted of only 18 cities. Because of popular demand, The Color Run has had to expand the tour to reach over 40 cities with more being added continuously. The Color Run has established its presence by its rapidly increasing “likes” on Facebook, visually addicting videos on YouTube, and filling Color Runner spots to capacity within days of opening registration. In many cases, registration fills up within hours of opening.
