About

The Little Jazz Baby was launched in December 2012 to educate and entertain people about all aspects of the history of the 1920s.

Each month focuses on different topics in arts and entertainment, and the overall history of what has become known as "The Jazz Age."  Whether people want to find out more about the movies of the era, or the film, or the events that defined the decade, they will find it here.

The person behind all this is Angie Schaffer, a social activist, and history and film buff who has spent practically her entire life researching silent film and 1920s culture. She has a particular fondness for German Expressionism, Slapstick, Dada, Surrealism, and early jazz compositions.
