Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust® (ASDT®), administered by The Ndege Group Nominees Limited, is the principal executing institution for the establishment and management of The African Federation — a unified continental sovereign bloc spanning 54 nations. It is not a consultancy, a think tank, or a coalition. It is an institution with a specific mandate, a defined architecture, and the legal infrastructure to see that mandate through for the century ahead.
Founded in 2022 by Kenyan institutional architect David Okiki Amayo Jr. and structured as a permanent, irrevocable purpose trust under Seychelles law, ASDT® administers a precisely engineered network of sovereign entities, development finance funds, operational mandates, and enterprise brands, each an interlocking layer of the Federation’s architecture. The name Ndege, meaning bird or aircraft in Swahili, encapsulates the institution’s founding philosophy: sovereign ambition, rooted in African culture, executed with institutional precision.
Africa’s challenges are not problems of resources or intelligence. They are problems of architecture. The continent holds over $24 trillion in verified natural wealth and the world’s largest youth population, yet has lacked the institutional infrastructure capable of retaining that wealth on the continent and deploying it in the service of African people. ASDT® is the answer to that absence.
Its work spans continental governance frameworks, sovereign monetary architecture, resource protection mandates, development finance, and the foundational legal instruments of The African Federation, all formally registered, DOI-indexed, and protected across 181 countries under the Berne Convention. The African Federation Treaty Framework©, ASDT®’s primary research contribution, has been downloaded by over 100 institutions globally and engaged by ministerial representatives from eleven nations.
The architecture is complete. The institutions are forming. The mandate is live.
