The Old Radiator Company

At the Old Radiator Company we specialise in the specification, restoration, refurbishment and bespoke supply of original cast iron radiators.  A radiator from The Old Radiator Company is supplied fully refurbished, tested and fitted with metric pipe fittings enabling our original cast iron radiators to be plumbed directly into modern central heating systems.  For details of the full in-house restoration service please refer to Radiator Restoration. A member of the team will be able to advise the radiator size required based on the measurement of your room.  Radiators can be altered at our in-house facility to provide the number of sections required to meet your heat or space requirements.  Radiators are painted in-house in a full range of colours or polished to highlight the detail of the casting, please refer to Cast Iron Radiator Finishes.
We can supply valves based on a traditional design, manufactured in the UK, to match the old style of radiator and available in Brass, Chrome, Nickel, Satin Nickel, Antique Brass, Antique Copper and Black Nickel, incorporating manual or thermostatic control. We also have a tradiational style valve manufactured in China also available in these finishes. We also provide pipe shrouds,covers and brackets in all of these finishes matching the radiator valves.
Our stock of over 4,500 Old Cast Iron Radiators is the largest in Europe and covers many radiator styles from the Victorian and Edwardian era. The styles are split into two ranges ; Rarer and Original. The Rarer range includes Princess and Duchess radiators. We also have an ever-changing stock of Unusual and Ornate radiators including Church radiators. The Original range includes the school and the column radiators which people are more familiar with ; Two column radiators, Four column radiators, Six column radiators, Nine column radiators, School radiators and Hospital radiators.

All the radiator styles in stock paint and polished finishes can be viewed at our 3000 ft2 showroom spread over three viewing areas. In showroom 3 radiators have been placed in two room sets to ease the visualisation of the cast iron radiator in your own home.  You can even visit the in-house workshop, blast bay and paint shop to understand the process run by our professional dedicated team.

We can supply "ready to go" radiators within a few days or a bespoke radiator in approx. 4-6 weeks.

Cast Iron Radiators can be specified and ordered either at our large showroom or over the phone.

Deliveries and Collections are made across the UK using our own transport.
