About |
The Stroke Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit dedicated to helping stroke survivors and their caregivers navigate life after stroke. Every day, families reach out after discharge—when therapy schedules, insurance limits, job disruptions, and caregiver burnout collide.
We bridge that care gap with programs that provide:
Financial assistance for rehabilitation therapies through our Stroke Survivor Fund
Care navigation and practical guidance to help families understand options and next steps
Educational resources and community storytelling that reduce isolation and normalize the realities of recovery
Our work is focused on equitable access to recovery—so survivors can keep moving, speaking, working, and rebuilding their independence, and caregivers can feel supported instead of alone.
For media, partners, and funders: we welcome collaboration that expands access to therapy, return-to-work support, mental health resources, and long-term recovery services for stroke-affected families nationwide.
