To gain attention for Peace Day www.thinkPEACE.net is promoting "Stand-Up For International Peace" (Peace Day Comedy) at over 50 global comedy clubs 
(a night of comedy in recognition of The United Nations' 
September 21st International Day of Peace).

It is our vision that the United Nations' International Day of Peace will become a day that everyone celebrates worldwide inspiring a new generation of peace thinkers, teachers and leaders!

Peace Day honors peace heroes and empowers communities to celebrate victories for peace that will inspire a new generation of Peace Thinkers, Teachers and Leaders comparable to Earth Day's encouragement of environmentalism.
