Founded in 2009 in Durham, NC, Thundershirt Company’s mission is to bring relief to the millions of dogs and dog owners struggling to cope with dog anxieties.  More than 16 million dogs in the U.S. are suffering from anxiety including fear of thunder, fireworks, separation, travel, crating and much more.    In just its first year, Thundershirt has helped tens of thousands of dogs across the country and around the world.   The company also donates Thundershirts and thousands of dollars to rescue groups and shelters to help these organizations manage their dogs' anxieties and find permanent homes.  Thundershirts are sold online at http://www.thundershirt.com and by veterinarians, trainers, kennels and retailers across the country.
