Transitaire Chine France is a free French platform that connects importers — SMEs, e-commerce merchants, and individual buyers — with a curated network of freight forwarders specialized in the China-to-France corridor.
The platform covers all standard freight modes for China imports: maritime FCL and LCL (full container load / less than container load), air freight (express and consolidated), and rail freight from Yiwu, Chongqing or Chengdu to European hubs.
Two free online tools are published alongside the matching service:
1. A customs duty and VAT calculator that reproduces the official methodology of the French customs administration (DGDDI). It estimates total landed cost from the CIF value and the product TARIC code, including:
- French VAT at 20% (mandatory since 2021 across the EU)
- Customs duties based on the TARIC tariff
- The French TPC (Taxe sur les Petits Colis) — 2 euros per HS6 product category for parcels under 150 EUR, effective March 1, 2026
