The Transition Kitchen Foundation is a Las Vegas-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth and underrepresented communities through tuition-free culinary education, workforce training, and sustainable economic development. Situated in the Historic Westside, the foundation operates on an innovative "earn-while-you-learn" apprenticeship model, removing financial barriers by providing paid hands-on training directly under industry professionals.
Led by Executive Director Brandon Clark and Master Chef Robert Stewart (Chef Stew), Transition Kitchen pairs rigorous culinary instruction with real-world hospitality experience. Through state-of-the-art facilities, mobile food operations like Stews Stix, and municipal partnerships with the City of Las Vegas, the foundation equips students with professional skills, job placement support, and entrepreneurial pathways to revitalize the local economy and build long-term career stability.
