Travel FX is an online foreign currency exchange based in London. The company has traded since 2009, selling foreign currency to UK travellers over the internet rather than over a counter.

Travel FX buys currency at wholesale rates and takes a margin rather than charging a commission. Orders are placed online and physical currency is delivered by post to customers across the United Kingdom. The company offers more than 60 currencies and also handles currency buy backs and international transfers.

Since it began trading, Travel FX has served more than 600,000 customers and processed more than £1.6bn.

Travel FX GO, a planned digital wallet, mobile app and multi-currency travel card, is in development. Registration of interest is open at travelfx.co.uk/go.
