Founded by Davide Gentile, a tourism professional with over 30 years of experience in airline operations, hospitality, and travel disruption management, TripWin was developed to address the widespread lack of clarity surrounding passenger compensation and travel refund rules.
The platform focuses on explaining passenger rights under EU Regulation 261/2004 (EU 261), which may entitle eligible travelers to compensation of up to €600 for flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections, even for non-EU citizens traveling within Europe. TripWin also provides guidance on refund rights governed by US Department of Transportation (US DOT) regulations.
