About

Hibiki Design Works – Sound Lab Division is the music and digital content division of Hibiki Design Works, a Japan-based independent creative business.

Through the musical project Tucci Rain, the Sound Lab Division explores new ways of combining original songwriting, AI-assisted music production, video, visual design, and storytelling.

Tucci Rain began in May 2026 as a personal creative project inspired by memories, life experiences, and observations of everyday life. What started with a single original song has grown into 23 original songs within just a few months, covering a wide range of musical styles and themes including love, youth, family, loneliness, seasonal memories, everyday moments, and the passage of time.

The songs are written entirely in Japanese, preserving the language and atmosphere in which the stories are conceived. To connect with listeners beyond Japan, Tucci Rain's YouTube videos feature English subtitles, while selected songs also include Spanish, German, Traditional Chinese, and Korean subtitles.

AI is used as a creative tool rather than as the source of the stories. The project begins with personal memories, emotions, lyrics, and ideas, which are then explored through AI-assisted music production and developed into songs and visual works.

Tucci Rain's music is intended to connect personal memories with universal human emotions — allowing a story rooted in Japan to resonate with listeners anywhere in the world.
