uGetTogether was built by and for group organizers in response to frustrations experienced using another hosting platform. Initially that platform was easy to use but changes resulted in reduced functionality and less user-friendliness. Unable to find an alternative, we built a better hosting site that delivers and enhances features clubs and organizations desire.

This inspired our Team to create a hosting platform that not only delivers the features that clubs and organizations desire, but enhances many of them. Just as important, our Team pledges:

- To be open and honest in our communications
- To allow user’s requests to drive our development priorities
- To explain and notify users, in advance, if removing any functionality becomes necessary
- To accept and learn from any criticism received
