Chronicle of an Unquiet Age is an ongoing documentary art project created by
artist Cynthia Warden. Since January 2020, original oil paintings have been created
in real time to document the political, cultural, economic, and historical events
shaping our era. Rather than looking back decades later, each work is created
while history is unfolding, forming a living historical archive. The collection now
