About

First introduced in 1951, high-performance Vacall sewer cleaning equipment, straight jetting trucks, hydro-excavators and industrial vacuum loaders have benefited from an intensive effort to streamline and advance various processes including production and product development.

The effort was launched by the Alamo Group of Seguin, Texas, after the Vacall products were purchased in May 2006 from Clean Earth Environmental Group, LLC, and Clean Earth Kentucky, LLC. Alamo subsequently turned over all Vacall product design, production, sales, support and marketing to Gradall Industries, Inc., moving the entire entity to New Philadelphia, Ohio, where Gradall excavators have been produced since the early 1950s.

Gradall's high-quality production capacity and strategic location, as well as its product support and engineering capabilities, delivered immediate customer service and cost-savings benefits. Meanwhile, Gradall also contributed proven sales and marketing expertise based on its customer-focused success in common government and contractor markets.

For many years, Alamo Group has been a leader in the design, manufacture, distribution and service of high-quality equipment for right-of-way maintenance and agriculture. Alamo Group companies have products that include tractor- and truck-mounted mowing and other vegetation maintenance equipment, excavators, street sweepers, snow blowers, pothole patchers, agricultural implements and related aftermarket parts and services. Alamo has over 2,290 employees and operates 14 plants in North America, Europe and Australia.

Vacall products have come to be recognized as valued-added machines, highly customizable and focusing on niche markets across North America and globally. Clean Earth acquired the products with the purchase of Vacall Division of Leach Co. in 2001.
