Our mission is to engage Hispanics in their own healthcare and to enhance their relationships with their health care providers by giving them the information, tools and skills they need to communicate better with their doctors, to ensure better compliance with physician instructions and to achieve better and more cost-effective health outcomes.

VidaySalud.com™ is the largest permanent source of health information and wellness tools in Spanish on the web, accessed millions of times each month. It includes content from the Harvard Medical School, Mayo Clinic, the Natural Standard research collective and healthy recipes from the test kitchens of EatingWell, as well as original health content, updated daily and created especially with the Hispanic community in mind. It also publishes 15 weekly or biweekly email newsletters on specific conditions for its over 500,000 registered subscribers.

Latina Health Letter covers all aspects of health in English from a Latina perspective, with channels dedicated to Women’s Health; Diet, Nutrition and Exercise; Women’s Sexual Health; Pregnancy; and Diabetes. Additional sections will be developed to reflect the U.S. Hispanic community’s health concerns. In addition, a free weekly email newsletter is available to subscribers.

The company was founded by Dr. Aliza A. Lifshitz, who serves as editor in chief of VidaySalud.com™ and Latina Health Letter. She is a renowned physician, author and health reporter. Better know to the Hispanic community as la Doctora Aliza™, she has served for over 20 years as the medical expert for Univision, People en Español, Ser Padres and impreMedia.

In addition to her activities in the media, Dr. Lifshitz maintains a full-time private practice in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, served as Vice Chair on the board of Blue Shield of California and Chair of its Foundation, and was President of the California Hispanic Medical Association an unprecedented four terms.
