About

Tour pick up is in Chittenden County. Our tour starts in Addison County (Waterfall Heaven) where you will see 3 tiered and/or plunge type waterfalls. We will stop for a wonderful lunch in Hancock, VT at the rustic Vermont Home Bakery in the Old Hancock Hotel est. 1788 (Rusti-city the largest city in VT) on the corner of two of the most scenic routes in the state. Lunch is on me, but do bring some money for gratuity and the Vermont gift shop (sorry no credit cards accepted). Then off to a beautiful fan type waterfall (pictured upper left) with a horsetail type waterfall beside it up the road in Granville. We'll continue our journey passing Warren Falls (pictured lower left) in Washington County as we are off to Lamoille county to see the best of them all a tiered 100 foot waterfall (pictured on photo page bottom) and a cascading waterfall with several plunges. On a hot day you can sit under the falls and get a cold natural massage or swim in the potholes*. The tour ends with a scenic ride through Smugglers Notch heading back to Chittenden County to cap off the day. Total trip is about 180 miles of scenic Vermont.
The waterfalls are naturally beautiful and the sounds they make so wonderful, but the drive would be worth it even without them. The views along the way are gorgeous and make the trip even better.
There is some hiking as well as walking involved in this tour. Most of the paths are easy trails with foot bridges; some are hiking trails of .25 or .2 miles. The View is well worth the effort.

* Swim or wade at your own risk no life guard available. First aid kit will be available.
All participants must be 18 years or older and are required to sign a release of liability. All participants must be physically able to walk/stand/hike repeatedly throughout the day. Payment in full to reserve all seats is required. All participants are encouraged to purchase trip insurance. No refund if tour is cancelled for any reason. No make up dates available.
