About

Wall was established in 1997 when our boutique was opened in London’s vibrant Notting Hill by Hernan and Judith Balcazar. Since then the timeless elegance and luxurious quality of our clothes has earned us a loyal and wide-ranging client base.

Wall’s design ethos is to produce ‘elegant clothing for inspiring women’. Our collections are designed with a certain type of woman in mind; one who is artistic, independent, mature yet energetic and who enjoys both an intellectual and a social life. Our clothes are flattering and stylish, and suit a woman who wishes to look good whilst remaining comfortable.

British design is typically seen as being smart yet innovative, taking inspiration from many cultures whilst retaining its own distinctive look. High quality fabrics and exclusive cuts are the trademark of many British designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Luella Bartley and Stella McCartney. Wall clothing is firmly inline with this design ethic. Our garments are created exclusively for Wall in our London studio, and are heavily influenced by oriental styles whilst remaining relevant to the European woman. The finest fabrics are sourced from such far-flung places as China, Mongolia and Peru to produce long lasting clothes which feel simply exquisite to the touch. Our clothes frequently feature in the fashion pages of the national press and have been described as “the epitome of casual luxury”, “clean and modern”, ”practical, no-nonsense” and a “grown-up range of subtle clothing”.

At Wall we strive to operate in an ethical manner, and aim to take into account the needs of all stakeholders, including our customers, suppliers and employees. For more information please see our ethics page.

Wall clothing is available to buy in our Notting Hill boutique and by mail order via telephone, post, fax and online ordering. We produce two exciting collections each year - Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. These are always eagerly anticipated by our loyal customers.
