Well Baby Center was founded 11 years ago as a community parenting and counseling center -- a place where families can play with other families every Thursday Funday, have a birthday party in our beautiful play yard, join one of our many relationship-based groups, or receive counseling or parenting consultations. Our specially-trained team of infant-parent/family counselors are here to guide parents through the process of self-healing in order for them to be present for their young child’s budding sense of self.
WBC offers a range of innovative and affordable (sliding scale fees available) services to support healthy families, including:
- Developmental Assessments: specialized assessments for parents who would like a baseline understanding of their child’s development.
- Counseling and Relationship Support: emphasizing mindful approaches to enhancing infant/toddler-parent relationships.
- Mindful Parenting Groups, Mothers Support Groups, Loving Discipline Workshops, Mommy & Me Classes and Becoming Social Groups are offered all week long to support parents to develop the skills to reflect, understand, and be more responsive to their children’s needs.
- Ancillary Services: We host free community events that promote overall family wellness and destigmatize mental health services.
- Thursday Fundays: FREE outdoor play yard fun along with our popular Swell Baby Music class.
