WRAR is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which dedicates free-volunteer hours to rescue adoptable dogs from abusive and neglectful situations in the Southeast to find them a forever home. WRAR focuses primarily on dogs from code red/urgent situations, with special assiduity to medically compromised dogs from being euthanized. Since 2009, WRAR has rescued over 4000 dogs and as many as 350 dogs in 2016. WRAR has also been covering all medical expenses for each rescue, up to $7000 in treatment.
