The Windowman Plus Inc ,was started in 1993 and incorporated in 1996 by Michael Krause. Krause's background comes from a family line of home improvement contractors and Krause started in the business as a helper/clean up boy back in the mid 1970s on siding and window crews. In 1981 Krause passed the test to become a licensed salesperson working under a family licensed builder contractor specializing in all kinds of residential and commercial remodeling and spent years learning installation as well as the inner workings of the business. By the late 80s Krause had made a name for himself in the Home Improvement Industry and was a highly sought after salesperson respected by his competitors , and building product suppliers. From 1987-1993 Krause went to work as a salesperson/manager for a large window and siding contractor and quickly became the top producer in the company where he learned how to run the entire business , dealing with , advertising, suppliers, building permits, office staff, skilled labor and day to day business operations. In 1992 Krause went to a school specializing in Michigan residential builders law and licenses and passed the State Builders License exam , starting The Windowman in March of 1993 .
The Windowman Plus Inc. is a fully Licensed Residential Builder , Krause chose to specialize in Windows, Siding, Gutters, Doors and a full line of accessories to compliment these products. By specializing Krause is able to offer Superior workmanship and products at highly discounted prices to His customers.
The Windowman Plus, has a great reputation with Homeowners, Building Departments, the Better Business Bureau, and has never had a complaint with the State of Michigan Licensing and regulations or the Better business Bureau . Krause takes pride in the fact that he has never had a customer that was not satisfied with the job that he completed for them , not that he's never had a problem on a job, but if a problem ever occurred , he hit it head on and fixed it immediately .
Krause personally oversees and inspects every Job that comes to The Windowman Plus Inc. and that is why The Windowman's Business continues to grow and flourish in an industry that has traditionally had a bad name.
The Windowman Plus's crews are all experts in their area the Window Installers install windows, the Siders install siding ,and the Gutter Guys put up gutters and all of our team members are experienced, and completely insured.
The Windowman Plus inc. treats every customer with professionalism and respect and in turn has a large amount of referral business and return customers, Jobs are completed in a timely manner ,job sites are always cleaned up on an ongoing basis, Krause often completes his Jobs weeks ahead of promised delivery dates and each customer has direct access to Krause at any time. Customers are always first and never made to feel like a number instead of a person.. Krause and his crews sometimes take a little longer if need be, not rushing to get to the next job , but always treating their jobs as if they were working on their own homes.
