In the summer of 2015, Philadelphia attorney Nicole Galli launched her law firm.  While seeking out similarly situated peers, a support system, networking opportunities and other resources, Nicole realized that there was no national organization devoted to serving the needs of women entrepreneurs in the law. How could this be?  Nicole quickly assembled a group of friends, former colleagues and other interested people, and began sketching out what would eventually become Women Owned Law.  Over thirty five potential members attended a hastily convened word-of-mouth cocktail/planning party in Philadelphia in October, 2016, and Women Owned Law formally entered into existence the following January.

Today, Women Owned Law has members across the United States, a robust Board of Directors, an impressive Advisory Board, Steering Committees in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Regional Representatives in several other cities, and is engaged in programming and networking events in both virtual and live formats – with more to come!
