The Good, Bad and The Ugly
This article is composed for the Google reader who is looking for a real work at home business. The events transposed here are actual circumstances that has been a result of being in a work at home business.
The Bad
I think about creating work at home jobs. The process is amazing and confusing, to say the least. For most, finding a work from home job means this. Someone you know know, like a family member, or friend, calls up on the phone and tells you what a tremendous work at home business they have joined and you just have to see it to believe it. There is excitement in their voice, as they know full well, this is going to be THE ONE that will make you rich, famous and allow you to eventually quit your day job. Without hesitation, you signup from their link, and all of a sudden, you have before you untold wealth just sitting there waiting to take hold of. The whole process only took a couple of minutes, but in those few moments, you said to yourself that this might just work! If it does, your troubles will all be over as the money will begin to flow effortless as water into your life. You have invested money in work at home business that is making others rich, and so why can this not work for you? After all, you are an intelligent business person. You have possibly made money with other offline businesses, so what could possibly be different about coming onto Google and doing exactly the same thing? You have just fallen for the oldest trick in the book. You have not THOUGHT before signing up. You see, you simply do NOT know how to build a business online. You only know that networking to your friends and family is the only way to fly, right? Well, you have just experienced what I call the BAD work at home business mind set.
The Ugly
From the blurb above, this is what I consider to be the bad decision in joining a work at home business. Now, we will get into some more details about the UGLY business of working at home. You get an email from so-called self proclaimed super network marketing legend. In that mail, he tells you how much money he is making, and he can show you how to do exactly the same thing. Maybe today, you are at a weak point in your work at home job, and you are looking for a way to get out of the box trap. So, you follow the link and what do you find? You find banners flashing, testimonials of average people, just like yourself, who are making tens of thousands of dollars by just working at home. The testimonials look good, and after all, no one would like on a website, right? So, you plunge fully ahead, pull out the old plastic, and you are in that new and exciting business program that everyone is raving about. You fell once again for the oldest trick in the book, you got excited thinking about the possibilities, but forgot one simple fact. You just do not know where to go from here. You begin the tedious and demanding process of going on canned teleconferencing calls that are aimed directly at getting you more excited about the business model. You hear these so called legends talking about how they took their business from zero to millions. They will teach you duplication, and how to do exactly what they are doing to make millions of dollars in this simple work at home business. This is THE UGLY!
The Good
You are searching on Google for a work at home business. You are diligent in your approach to this as you sift and sort through the unlimited maze of businesses out there, and all of a sudden, you come across a website that actually makes sense for a change. You hear one of the most powerful network marketers ever known talking about the problems with the MLM and network marketing businesses today. You hear about the difference between excitement and intelligence. You hear about common sense and results, rather than being inundated with foolish facts and figures that are simply lies. This work at home business model works today, and will work far into the future for precisely one reason, real people, just like yourself, have been taught the art and science of creating wealth from a substantial work at home business.
