About |
YOGI TIMES was founded in 2001 as a print magazine for the yoga communities of Los Angeles and San Francisco and is today an online lifestyle guide for the modern yogi, read worldwide. Its archive spans 25 years of yoga, wellness and conscious-living journalism: pose guides, yoga teacher training reviews, retreat and destination guides, product reviews, interviews and features on mindful living.
The publication reaches a social media community of more than 500,000 people and 22,000-plus newsletter subscribers, and works with yoga teachers, studios, retreat centers and wellness brands on editorial features and reviews.
In 2026 YOGI TIMES launched Pose for a Cause, a program in which a yoga teacher claims one yoga pose on yogitimes.com and becomes the teacher featured on that pose's page, with their own cues, philosophy and teaching video, published in up to five languages. Ten to fifteen percent of every participation is donated to a charity aligned with the values of yoga: the Jessie Rees Foundation (NEGU), Healthy Humor, and Off the Mat Into the World.
Co-founders: Sophie Parienti (editor-in-chief) and Jesse Gabler (international publisher).
