The YPC is involved with Canada's political issues and provides the federal government with the perspective of young Canadians. The YPC works with politicians to advise on policies and laws that affect young Canadians and the future of the country. In schools, political offices, and campaigns, the YPC works to educate, inform, and benefit the future of Canada's democracy by empowering soon-to-be and new voters to get involved. With declining voting rates across Canada, it is crucial, now more than ever, that young people become aware of political issues while taking part in democracy.
