Zooppa is a source of user-generated advertising, inspired by the principles of crowdsourcing and the dynamics of social networking.

Zooppa partners with international companies to sponsor their brand through Zooppa’s competitions. For each company that Zooppa partners with, a new contest is launched for users to compete in. Each company provides a creative brief describing its brand and the audience it hopes to reach. Users are then invited to create advertisements tailored to the company’s needs in competition for cash prizes. These ads can take many forms. Users may design an animated sequence, create a print ad, write a script or concept for a potential ad, or actually produce a viral video.

Zooppa has launched over 90 user-generated advertising campaigns with major brands such as Google, Nike, Hershey’s, General Mills, Microsoft, NBC Universal, and Mini Cooper. With a community of more than 65,000 people, Zooppa offers brands a model for developing creative advertisements, building word-of-mouth, and gaining consumer insights.
