Master trainers William and Jennifer Dovidio take each student step by step through the process of learning these unique forms of fitness, dance and art. Regardless of the individuals fitness level, weight, age, or stature they break down each fundamental move making it possible for everyone to work at their own pace. Before you know it, your doing things you never thought were possible, gaining core strength and confidence and while having fun.
Using aerial apparatuses , Aerial silks, (also know as fabric, tissue, ribbon,) Trapeze, Lyra
(Aerial hoop, cerceau), Aerial Rope (Corde Lisse, Spanish Web) Aerial Hammock and Pole (Chinese pole), you will soon “Take flight through Fitness & Dance”.
This great new form of fun and fitness continues to gain national recognition as seen on the Doctors, The View, The next fashion star, and America’s got talent just to name a few.
A.A.R. won the 2012 best fitness in Rochester award bring us a step closer to our mission, to make the circus arts attainable to everyone, in a supportive environment where you will be able to soar.
William Dovidio received his black belt at the age of eleven and has been perfecting his coaching and training form for the last 16 years. Creating “Cirque Fit”(aerobics’ for the aerial arts) “ A Circus boot camp for students to help build the muscle and balance needed to perform the aerial arts” said William Dovidio. Cirque Fit is held in the studio at A.A.R, located in the Artisan Works building and is the best workout in town. In Cirque fit, it’s done Will’s way, or no way.
Jennifer Dovidio is a classically trained dancer and a certified personal trainer. Training with the some of the top athletes in her field including Christine Van Loo for Aerial Silks (Olympic athlete of the decade). Jennifer started instruction pole fitness in June of 2009. In her quest for perfection she continuing her training by traveling and working with other professionals, performing and competing across the country. Her goal, always to be at the top of her field shows thought with her exceptional belief in her art and her unique training style. Jennifer recently said:

”
Kyle Kier, Performer and Instructor at Aerial Arts of Rochester is back from his performing
tour on the Norwegian Jewel. Kyle has returned just in time to do a special performance at our student showcase on Sunday August 12th 2:00PM-3:00PM -Location Artisan Works 565 Blossom Road Rochester, NY 14610. Tickets $6.00- 585-201-8202
Kyle has been performing professionally as an acrobat and aerialist since 2009. As a child he was involved in many community theaters along with team gymnastics, diving and dance. These art forms have always had a large influence on his life. After graduating from Victor Senior High School, Kyle was cast as a performer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida.
He performed in such shows as "The Festival of the Lion King", "Mickeys Jamina", "Jungle Parade" and " Block Party Bash". In 2010 he hit the high seas joining the production cast on the vessel, Norwegian Jewel as an Aerial Artist.
Upon the ship he performed cirque acts including Aerial silks, Lyra (hoop), Spanish web, bungee, hand balancing and harness and porting in a main stage production show "Le Cirque Bijou." Among these acts Kyle also has experience in standard and articulated stilts, power skips, trampoline, tumble track and diving. Kyle is passionate about the Aerial Arts and is excited to share that with others. You can see as he performs that he has found his passion in the Aerial Arts, you see this not only in his performances but with his teaching style and skill.
