Kyle Kier, Performer and Instructor at Aerial Arts of Rochester is back from his performing tour on the Norwegian Jewel. Kyle has returned just in time to do a special performance at our student showcase on Sunday August 12th 2:00PM-3:00PM -Location Artisan Works 565 Blossom Road Rochester, NY 14610. Kyle has been performing professionally as an acrobat and aerialist since 2009. As a child he was involved in many community theaters along with team gymnastics, diving and dance. These art forms have always had a large influence on his life. After graduating from Victor Senior High School, Kyle was cast as a performer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida.
He performed in such shows as "The Festival of the Lion King", "Mickeys Jamina", "Jungle Parade" and " Block Party Bash". In 2010 he hit the high seas joining the production cast on the vessel, Norwegian Jewel as an Aerial Artist.
Upon the ship he performed cirque acts including Aerial silks, Lyra (hoop), Spanish web, bungee, hand balancing and harness and porting in a main stage production show "Le Cirque Bijou." Among these acts Kyle also has experience in standard and articulated stilts, power skips, trampoline, tumble track and diving. Kyle is passionate about the Aerial Arts and is excited to share that with others. You can see as he performs that he has found his passion in the Aerial Arts, you see this not only in his performances but with his teaching style and skill.
