Profile:  Charles E. Hartman, CPA CFP®

2011 will be Charles E. Hartman’s, CPA CFP®, eighteenth tax season. Charles has spent numerous tax seasons working in the public accounting and in private industry environment.  This upcoming tax season, Charles will hang out his own shingle as the owner-operator of Blue Ridge Tax, Inc. located in historic downtown Leesburg, Virginia at 26 S. King Street. Charles shall provide Certified Public Accounting services specializing in business and individual tax matters through Blue Ridge Tax, Inc. which holds a firm license issued by the Virginia Board of Public Accountancy.

Most recently Charles was the Tax Director for Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc. a multi-national publicly traded company with over 800 million dollars of revenue.  As worldwide head of tax, Charles was responsible for all aspects of the tax group including the computation of the Group’s worldwide tax provision and tax footnote for SEC reporting.  In this role, Charles supported tax compliance on a worldwide basis including income and indirect taxes.

Prior to working for Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc Charles held the following roles:
