(DE-FI) Global INC™ is the Midwest’s pioneering full-value-chain fashion ecosystem and a social enterprise that is redefining how fashion is taught, produced, and celebrated across the country. Commonly known as (DE-FI) (pronounced "defy"), we are a barrier-removing, volunteer-driven community think tank and social enterprise. Our mission is to provide access and support for emerging designers, models, sewists, writers, photographers, HMUAs, videographers, and textile innovators while integrating STEM, sustainable agriculture, and workforce development into the fashion industry.
