Marlene is a writer living in Ontario, Canada with her husband of thirty-four years, John. She writes a regular dollar store column for  Sensible Life Magazine, www.sensiblelife.com  and has several articles about dollar store shopping posted on The Dollar Stretcher  www.stretcher.com.

Other writing credits include Chicken Soup For the Cat Lover's Soul, The Toronto Star Newspaper, Modern Woman Magazine and Capper's Magazine, among others.  She also writes original children's stories.
