What is the KBL?
The Kayak Bass League (KBL) is Illinois’ premier all kayak bass tournament series! Kayak fishing is a rapidly growing sport here in the Midwest, and the KBL has been working diligently to provide a competitive outlet that has been non-existent for the kayak angling community until now!

Our Mission
The KBL’s mission is solely focused on two main principles…competition and conservation.  Kayak fishing at its core is solely focused on conservation.  With its minimal footprint and impact to the environment, kayak fishing will only help to keep our waterways in their original state.  On the other side of the coin is the promotion of competition.  Competition not only makes us better anglers, but better people as well when we focus on sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Our Vision
The KBL’s vision is to grow this entity into an affiliate brand that multiple kayak bass clubs can operate under.  The KBL is currently working towards that goal, and will have full memberships available for the 2016 season.
