Missouri Coast Fisheries is a Farley, Missouri–based conservation company turning one of the Midwest’s toughest ecological challenges—invasive silver carp—into practical, high-value products for anglers, gardeners, and pet owners. Working with public agencies, local partners, and river communities, we harvest, transport, and process invasive carp to reduce ecological pressure on native fish while creating jobs and market value close to home.

Our mission is simple: restore rivers, empower communities, and prove that conservation can pay for itself. By capturing unwanted biomass and converting it into everyday goods, Missouri Coast advances a circular economy model that keeps benefits in Missouri.

What we do

River Operations & Processing: Safe, efficient removal and handling of invasive carp, including on-site and mobile processing capabilities for large harvests.

Product Development: We transform harvested fish into useful products that people already need and buy.

Fishing Baits – multiple durable and effective bait lines including Missouri Gold™ (crawfish, lobster, and crab bait), Baitman™ Cutbait Carp Fillets, and Endur-O™ Bait (gelatin-based, long-lasting bait).

Bene-Fishal™ – a fish hydrolysate liquid soil amendment for home and market gardeners.

Why it matters
Silver carp outcompete native fish and disrupt recreation on our rivers. Traditional removal alone can be costly and short-lived. Missouri Coast closes the loop by building markets for the removed fish, aligning ecological outcomes with economic incentives so removal efforts scale with demand.
