Temple Beth Emet is Southwest Broward's Reform Congregation, servicing the communities of Cooper City, Weston, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Plantation, Hollywood, and Miami Lakes. We are centrally located on Flamingo Road just south of Griffin Road on 16 beautiful acres of land. Beth Emet is less than 5 minutes from either I75 or I595.
Temple Beth Emet provides a dynamic environment for Jewish social life through its many varied activities. We offer Shabbat and Holiday dinners, Adult Education, Torah study groups, Golf tournaments, our renowned Annual Mitzvah Day, Nosh Fest, Israel trips, Purim carnivals, Summer Camp and much more. A new Aquatic center has been completed and a beautiful Social Hall, Reception Room and in-house catering company offer the perfect facility to hold Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s, Weddings or any other function for up to 500 people.
Our new home on Flamingo Road opened in late 2000 and allowed further growth of our Early Childhood Center, our Religious School and enabled the opening of our Elementary School. We now have one of the largest Religious School in Broward County, a nationally accredited, award winning Early Childhood Center and our Elementary School has received acknowledgement and recognition from the Central Agency for Jewish Education. Our outstanding education programs, especially our Family Education programs, are exemplary in the Jewish community.
Temple Beth Emet's religious services are warm toward tradition and modern in outlook. We love congregational singing! At a service, one might see a teenager or adult, either male or female, becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah...or a child being brought into the covenant...or children leading services...or creative worship led by a religious school class...or a service to commemorate a holiday...or a service of social action or outreach.
