Lost and Profound, LLC

We’ve all heard of long distance love affairs. But what about long distance business partnerships? After living in the same city for twenty years, two Texans waited until they lived 900 miles apart before creating their successful publishing company together. Lost and Profound, LLC is a business created by  Ann Carol Cook, who lives in Denver, and Pamela L. Garza who lives on her ranch in central Texas. But despite the many miles between them, these partners have managed to write, edit, and publish their first book, The Right Answer to Do I Look Fat In This? And Other Impossible Questions Women Ask. They say it required a lot of real time emailing back and forth, phone calls, and many late nights. But the final result is a winner. Within a week of being published, the book shot up on the Amazon sales rank and was receiving favorable reviews. One reader, whom the women have never met, but have since “friended” on Facebook, loved the book so much that he even offered to refund the price to any of his friends who bought it and didn’t agree it was fabulous.  Lost and Profound, LLC is currently working on several other Right Answer books and negotiating with other authors to edit and publish their books as well.
